OTS Technology enables continuous temperature monitoring with high spatial resolution and sufficient temperature accuracy up to several kilometers in one piece - a basic requirement for reliable detection and location of leaks in pipelines. OTS technology detects temperature changes produced by even small leaks of products such as molten sulphur, LNG and other super-cooled materials, heated hydrocarbons and pressurized gases and precisely identifies their location. The OTS P product line is capable of multiplexing, allowing one OTS evaluation unit to monitor several different fibres, and the technology complies with all performance requirements of this industry.
